I am currently traveling with my wife in Las Vegas and had hopped to have some time in the evenings once my wife went to sleep in order to do some work on some projects I have in mind. I figured staying in a hotel on the strip that includes WiFi in every room would have insured me at least a moderately capable data connection but my assumption was incorrect. Using my Android TF 101 Transformerpad's speed test app I have seen speeds ranging from 200 to 500 kbs, definitely not sufficient for what I had hoped to research and write on. As a sort of teaser I can say that I am working on an rather lengthy article discussing the role of Steam in the gaming industry. I don't't think I've seen anyone discuss this topic at length (I haven't seen anyone discuss the specific topic I will be writing on, plenty of people have written about Steam and the Gaming Industry) and I'm pretty excited about it.
Alas if only these speeds were better I would finally have some time to make some substantial progress..
